The drilling tool lifting nipple is a specialized tool for lifting drilling tools in oil, gas, and geological exploration drilling operations. The lifting short section of the integrated structure is divided into two types: A and B. Type A has an 18 degree shoulder and type B has a 90 degree shoulder. When using, choose type A or type B lifting short section according to the structural form of the elevator. All threads comply with the standard specifications for petroleum drill rods.

(Drill collar) A tool used to lift a short joint and lower the drill collar. It is a short drill pipe mainly used for lifting drilling tools. In the process of oil drilling, large clamping tools cannot fix and clamp the drilling tools, and the thread of the lifting short joint needs to be used for fixation. Therefore, the quality requirements for the lifting short joint are relatively strict. In the manufacturing process, due to high stress requirements, manufacturing is difficult, and the quality requirements for defects on the inner and outer surfaces are also high.

The lifting short joint is only used for lifting drill collars and cannot be used as a conversion joint. The inner and outer surfaces of short section products should not have defects such as cracks, wrinkles, scars, or good holes, and repair welding of defective areas is also not allowed. After polishing, the remaining wall thickness of the defect should be greater than 95% of the nominal wall thickness.
