As all magnetic measuring instruments sense the geomagnetic field of the wellbore when measuring its direction, the measuring instrument must be in a non magnetic environment. However, during the drilling process, drilling tools often have magnetism, which affects magnetic measurement instruments and cannot obtain accurate wellbore trajectory measurement information data. The use of non magnetic drill collars can implement a non magnetic environment and have the characteristics of drill collars in drilling.
Ordinary drill collars generate magnetic force when friction with the formation during drilling, while non magnetic drill collars do not generate magnetic force, which doews not interfere with the magnetic flux of logging or inclination measurement, ensuring accurate data is obtained.
