When replacing vulnerable parts of oil drill pipes, the preparation work in the early stage is particularly important to ensure safe and efficient operation and extend the service life of the equipment.
Firstly, the machine must be shut down and depressurized: the power source of the drilling rig must be completely cut off, and the high-pressure fluid in the drill pipe system must be released. If operated without pressure relief, high-pressure fluid may spray out and cause personal injury or equipment damage.
Secondly, check the tools and spare parts: use specialized tools such as torque wrenches and hydraulic pullers to avoid thread damage caused by violent disassembly. Check whether the new part model and specifications (such as thread type and sealing ring size) are consistent with the original equipment. Observe the surface of the spare parts for cracks and burrs, and check the elasticity and integrity of the seals.
