1、 Proper use of tools
1). Before performing the drilling operation, it is necessary to check whether the previous drill rod has been tightened to prevent safety hazards such as drill rod breakage or falling during the drilling process.
2). Use a handling clamp to hold the drill rod instead of holding it directly. During the handling process, attention should be paid to maintaining balance to avoid falling or causing injury.
3). When using a wrench, the correct size should be selected and the verticality between the wrench and the thread should be ensured to avoid twisting the thread or damaging the drill rod.
2、 Avoid getting stuck in the drill
1). During the drilling process, always pay attention to the rotational speed and downforce of the drill rod to avoid it getting stuck or breaking.
2). Due to the complex underground environment and difficult geological conditions, it is necessary to check the rock formations at any time during the drilling process. When encountering drilling jamming, drilling should be stopped immediately and the drill bit should be replaced or adjusted.
3、 Prevent splash injuries
1). The working environment underground is harsh, with many large particles or sharp objects present. Therefore, during the operation, protective clothing, gloves, safety helmets, and other protective equipment should be worn to prevent being scratched or hit by sharp objects.
2). During the drilling process, the drill bit generates high speed and pressure, which can easily cause splashing injuries. Therefore, it is necessary to maintain a safe distance and wrap the drilling area with iron plates or splash barriers to ensure the safety of workers.
