   Precautions for storing drill pipes:
1. Prevent foreign objects from falling into: Drill pipes stored on the construction site for a short period of time should be placed at a higher place and not buried in slag piles. Do not let the ends of the drill pipe get into the soil, mud, water, or other debris. Do not use drill rods as support to cut and weld other components.
2. Anti corrosion and anti deformation: Long term unused drill pipes should be stored in a dry and ventilated warehouse, and should not come into contact with acids, alkalis, and other corrosive substances. They should be protected from water erosion and fire. When stored, the outer pipe should be horizontally supported to prevent deformation of the drill pipe.
