The drilling operation environment is usually very harsh, and the drill pipe needs to withstand various harsh conditions such as high temperature, high pressure, and corrosion. Therefore, oil drill pipes must have high reliability and stability.
1. Conventional oilfield environment: Petroleum drill pipes are suitable for drilling operations in most conventional oilfields, capable of transmitting torque and transporting drilling fluid, allowing the wellbore to continuously deepen.
2. Deep well operation environment: In deep well operations that require frequent addition and removal of drill rods, spiral drill rods have obvious advantages, as they are connected together through threaded connection equipment for easy operation.
3. Complex geological conditions: Petroleum drill pipes are also suitable for drilling operations under complex conditions such as ultra-high pressure, high temperature, and corrosiveness. For example, in special environments such as sulfur-containing oil wells, special steel grade drill pipes (such as BNKC95S drill pipes) can be used to cope.
4. Horizontal and curved wells: Steel rope drill rods are more suitable for horizontal or curved well operations. The steel rope drill rod is composed of multiple strands of steel rope, which is lightweight and highly adaptable.
5. Non magnetic environment: In drilling operations that require a non-magnetic environment, such as complex well types such as directional wells, non-magnetic drill rods such as P550 oil drill rods can effectively improve drilling efficiency and safety.
