1. Improve the comprehensive mechanical properties of drill collar materials and the production process level of hollow steel: minimize various internal and external defects of drill collars to ensure high quality and service life of drill collars.
2. Improving the structure of rock drilling machines: for example, the development from pneumatic rock drills to hydraulic rock drills can change the waveform of rock drilling stress waves and reduce the crushing stress acting on geological drill rods.
3. The common method to solve the problem of wear between drill pipe joints and casing is to weld a wear-resistant alloy layer on the drill pipe joints, forming a wear-resistant band with a certain width and thickness. 4. Introduction of graded management of drilling tools: Through graded management methods, drilling tools are divided into three levels. This can better select suitable drill collars according to drilling needs.
5. Strengthen the sampling and maintenance of drilling tools on construction sites: Through modern technical equipment such as ultrasonic testing, potential problems with drilling tools can be detected and repaired in a timely manner, avoiding the occurrence of malignant accidents.
6. Pay attention to the use and maintenance of drill collars:
· When using new drill collars, ensure that they are intact and free from any looseness or other issues.
· During the first drilling operation, a "grinding new buckle" operation should be carried out to avoid new wear and buckles.
· Try to maintain the drill collar in a straight line between the ground and the ground as much as possible, to avoid stress on the threaded part and unnecessary wear.
· When making up the drill collar, it should be slowly tightened to reduce overheating and wear.
· Be careful not to use pliers to hold any part of the drill pipe body to prevent it from being pinched by slips.
